At Turpone, we have faith in the strength of community and contributing to others. On the 7th of September, 2024, we happily took part in the fourth yearly Golf 4 Cause event, put together by the charitable organization Friends 4 Cause. President Carmelo Tortolano saw the growing necessity to aid local causes in Montreal and thus, transformed a small Facebook initiative into a flourishing community.
The Golf 4 Cause event aimed to generate funds for two outstanding charities: St Leonard’s Second Chance Café, a free café offering assistance to those in need, and Le Phare, a nonprofit aiding children in Quebec with life-threatening illnesses. In spite of the rain, the event was a big success, with Turpone there to keep participants feeling enthusiastic as they navigated the course.
Highlighting our adaptable Ronzio 12” pizza ovens, the Turpone group presented recently baked pizzas at a rest area, providing a necessary pause for dedicated golfers.
Although the total donations are not finalized yet, the event was a significant chance to help Montreal's community and emphasize the importance of giving. At Turpone, we are happy to support Friends 4 Cause and be a part of these meaningful efforts.
